I make these tomahawks of three different materials. The simplest tomahawks have a C45 monosteel body (signed [a] at the end of their code). I forge weld a damascus steel cutting edge into the monosteel body to reach nicer look [b]. The most unique items are made of full damascus steel, the multiple forge welding technology makes the appearance of the product highly attractive and special [c]. All the three materials has similar mechanical properties.

All the tomahawks and axes have a hardened cutting edge and hammer poll or spike, so these items are not for decoration but they are well usable tools.

Custom requests are welcome for handles and leather sheaths. All the tomahawks may have short handles (for cutting wood) or long handles (for walking stick). See some examples at the bottom of this page. Custom requests are also welcome for any other tomahawks or axes.

CUSTOM HANDLED TOMAHAWKS

I can assemble custom handled tomahawks with the heads above. I use short and long handle of different woods and made by different techniques. You can choose of oak wood, hand carved ash or bunch-berry wood and fine decorated hand carved bunch-berry wood handles. The handle could be burned and oiled, which technique makes the surface harder, provides good resistance against biodegradation and also a better look.
I use fixing parts to fix the head on the handle. These help not only to fix the head very well but also protect the handle if you miss the target. I recommend protective iron cap in case of walking stick axes to protect the end of the handle. These iron parts could be made of monosteel or damascus steel.
I make leather sheath to protect the cutting edge.
